The Tom Sadge Show now offers a new impersonation...
Tom Sadge has been performing the songs of Engelbert Humperdinck as part of his extensive repertoire of voices for nearly 25 years. He had the pleasure of opening for Engelbert in Toronto on one very special occasion, and has met with and spent time with the famous singer on several occasions since that time. Tom also had the pleasure of meeting, at one time or another, Engelbert's lovely wife, Patricia, and his children Louise Dorsey and Brad Dorsey, who, like his father, has a wonderful voice. (Tom remembers Brad singing a song called "Angels", for which Brad received a standing ovation. Engelbert and Patricia have a third son, Scott, as well.
One such meeting with Engelbert was in November 2003 in Laughlin, Nevada. Engelbert performed at the Flamingo Hilton where he put on a spectacular show, as always! Tom has visited with Enge in several places, among them Toronto Canada, Atlantic City NJ, Mount Airy Lodge (where Marion Sadge also met with Engelbert) and Wilkes-Barre PA.
During the Wilkes-Barre concert at the F.M. Kirby Center, Engelbert Humperdinck performed some songs from his new CD. One of them was particularly memorable. It was written by Enge's lovely and talented daughter, Louise Dorsey. After the show, Engelbert told Tom that Louise worked in Nashville and on her own, as well as being a valuable addition to Engelbert's show. Engelbert's musician son, Brad, is also involved in the music & entertainment business.
A few years ago Tom asked Engelbert permission to integrate a full impersontion into THE TOM SADGE SHOW, and was given the go ahead. Tom spent the next couple of years preparing an Engelbert Humperdinck soundalike and lookalike segment.
While there is NO one who is just like Engelbert, Tom is honored to be able to bring the songs of this magical singer to a wider audience.

Engelbert entered the world as Arnold George Dorsey. At the age of 11 he began studying music and playing the saxophone. At 17, Engelbert walked into a club where people were taking turns singing and Engelbert decided to take a shot at it. He received a standing ovation and later found out that auditions were taking place for clubs around the Country. Engelbert was asked who his agent was and he told them he was not in show business, but the attention he was given pushed him into the direction of becoming a singer...
Engelbert Humperdinck never wanted to be a singer... A career in music, yes, but he was a very shy young man. The youngest boy of a family of ten children originally from Leicester, he spent his boyhood in Madras, India, where his father was stationed as an Officer in the British Army."
