In October 2004 and late April, 2006 Tom brought the Tom Sadge as Neil Diamond Show to the Sands casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. All shows at the Copa Room were a great success!
Pinnacle Gaming purchased the Sands Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City's smallest casino, and permanently closed it on November 11, 2006 at 6:00 AM and demolished it in a dramatic Las-Vegas styled implosion of the resort took place on Thursday, October 18th, 2007. The company intends to replace it with a $1.5 - 2 billion casino resort on 18 contiguous oceanfront acres, to open by 2011.
Ben Vereen was the last act to grace the showroom stage at The Sands, Atlantic City's smallest casino/hotel.

After the second April 2006 show Tom met with show attendees, posed for photos and signed autographs. This event at the Sands was very special for Tom, as his mother, aunt, wife and daughter were able to accompany him on the trip and attend the shows...a rare treat these days as he performs further and further from his home base.

In between shows, several of Tom's friends met with the Sadge family in the Sands Casino Copa Room dressing room. This was made especially exciting when the group learned that this is the very same dressing room where Frank Sinatra readied himself for one of his very last Atlantic City concerts. (The original Copa Room was located in the Sands hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was the place that Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop; better known as the Rat Pack, made famous during the 1950s.)
This is not the first time Tom has appeared as Neil Diamond in Atlantic City. Tom Sadge has also performed at both the Tropicana and at Trump Plaza.
Thank you to Jennifer for arranging the show, to the several thousand who saw the shows and who were so enthusiastic in their response, to Ann W. (who honored Tom by attending his Neil Diamond show as a way of celebrating her birthday), and to wonderful staff and stage crew at the Sands hotel - especially the two "Joes", Jr. And Sr. The large suite provided for Tom Sadge and his wife and daughter was beyond expectations.

A special thank you to: Flo, for making "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" so hilarious; to Evelyn, who honored Tom Sadge by celebrating her 85th birthday at his Copa Room show, and to AnnEliza, whose words were posted (by proxy) on the iaisnd.com message board.
Thank you to all!
